E&C Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E &C Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will support the company’s energy supply projects group to help manage capital projects at the power plants across the region.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Collaborate with reliability engineering to develop project scopes and justifications.
• Submit and manage projects through company’s emergent capital request system and processes.
• Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously (up to 20 small projects at a time).
• Support execution of larger base capital projects as needed.
• Work closely with operations and reliability teams to understand plant systems and processes.
• Attend daily POD (Plan of the Day) meetings to align priorities and critical tasks.
• Coordinate with operations and reliability personnel throughout the day to ensure project success.
• Supervise contractors in the field to ensure safe and effective project execution.
• Develop scopes of work and technical specifications for projects.
• Assist in obtaining equipment quotes and managing the bidding process when required.
• Coordinate material procurement, delivery, and installation with plant stakeholders.
• Manage all project-related administrative tasks and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment (e.g., power plant is preferred).
• Proven experience managing contractors and field work execution.
• Project management experience, including developing project plans, charters, and managing budgets.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage project costs effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) / Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification, or willingness to obtain (preferred) .
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP certification are a plus.
