One Tech Engineering is searching for a Station Manager for a position located in Orlando, Florida. The Station Manager will be responsible for the quality of service and profitability of the station’s operations in accordance with the company’s overall strategic goals.

 

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have at least 5 years of previous operations experience.

 

Station Manager Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a positive and motivated work environment that encourages the team to succeed.
  • Complete oversight of facility’s safety, security, and utility services (etc.)
  • Ensure employees know their responsibilities and expectations and hold them accountable.
  • Develop onsite employee roles and responsibilities to increase knowledge base of customers, industry, leadership and teamwork.
  • Create SOPs based on client needs that identify customer business, contact information, operations and quoting procedures.
  • Emails and phone calls are answered in a polite, professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure the operations team follows those SOPs to provide best in class service to our customers.
  • Ensure Sales team members are communicated with and treated like internal customers.
  • Billing shipments in a timely manner.
  • Communicating staffing, operational, vendor and IT challenges to Corporate so these challenges can be addressed and corrected.

Requirements of the Station Manager:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus 5–7 years of Operations experience. Customer Service or Call Center experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on operational experience within a Corporate Environment.
  • Operations experience mandatory, including routing, documents, AWB, and BOL preparation, and carrier knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both local and domestic agents and clients.
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven diverse background in all aspects of operations experience within a dynamic growth environment.
  • IATA DG certification preferred.
