One Tech Engineering is looking for a Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician located in Bangor, Maine. The Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician will be leading complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and mentoring technicians.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have at 2-4 years of experience in the solar industry or related electrical field.

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Review and ensure correct PPE is available and being used properly.
• Create PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for approval.
• Act as work leader for Pre-Job Briefs, Job Safety Analysis, Personal LOTO, and switch plan LOTO.
• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervise and train junior technicians on inspection and maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues, including grid integration and communication problems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and address system performance issues.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for management.
• Skilled in Work Order documentation; provide oversight and direction in documentation to junior technicians.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2–4 years of experience in the solar industry or a related electrical field.
• Must have a Master Electrician License.
• Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications.
• FAA Part 107 Certification (or proficiency operating Drones for Aerial Thermographic purposes).
• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior technicians in the field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a High Voltage Electrical Estimator for a position located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The High Voltage Electrical Estimator will be responsible for all aspects of bidding transmission, distribution, and substation work.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, design, finance, and two years of experience/knowledge of electrical project management.

High Voltage Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

• Bid and prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare and oversee preconstruction budgets and scheduling.
• Download drawings and bid documents.
• Review contract drawings and specifications.
• Reach out to vendors for quotes.
• Job site visits as required prior to bid.
• Create high level project schedule for bid documents.
• Prepare bid letters and other documents as required for the bid.
• Prepare and present all take-offs, quotes, bid letters and other documents to the electrical division manager for review.

• 5+ years of electrical construction, design, finance, and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical project management.
• Electrical estimating experience in transmission, distribution, switchyards, and substations.
• Must be able to multi-task. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Accubid / Construct Jobs proficiency, or other bidding software.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc) and Bluebeam.
  
  

• Experience managing projects and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical construction, design, finance, and management required.
• Experience with Accubid, MS Projects, and Blue Beam.
• Capable of managing multiple high-revenue projects.
• Primavera P6 Scheduling.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a High Voltage Journeyman Lineman for a position located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The High Voltage Journeyman Lineman will interpret electrical plans, prints, and specifications.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have completed a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program.

• Demonstrate proficiency in pole and tower climbing, URD installations, using hotline tools and working in aerial devices.
• Perform work on energized high-voltage systems up to and including 230kV and operate all related equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide on-the-job training of apprentices and other crew members in the maintenance and construction of power lines.
• Identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit, familiarity with induced voltage, and understanding of proper grounding procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain company tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within established timelines.
• Demonstrate skill in troubleshooting trouble in primary and secondary systems.
• Conduct pre-job or tailboard briefing.
• Other duties or locations as assigned.
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program.
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class “A”) with the ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Background Check
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or possess the ability to obtain such certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time.
