E&C Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Assistant for a position located in Akron, Ohio. The Project Assistant will verify project scope, work orders, change tickets, and RTU outage requests prior to SCADA testing and commissioning.

• Identify, communicate, and resolve project issues as they arise.
• Attend weekly meetings with the client and provide necessary information as requested.

• Verify SCADA configurations are ready before the field project date.
• Confirm EMS upload dates occur before the field project date.
• Coordinate with EMS testers to assign testers for each SCADA job.
• Provide regular project updates and maintain accurate job completion status for each job listed in SCADA Base
• Update the SCORES and Engineering Support columns as needed.
• Schedule field technicians to capture as-found configurations when requested by engineering department.
• Verify all contracted SCADA jobs for the upcoming week with the Project Manager and field personnel.
• Request site access for contracted SCADA techs.
• Assist the field tech finding the correct U-drive folder for SCADA jobs.
• Manage Field Technician Project Reports.
• Edit and create documents for Technician Project Reports based on technician feedback.
• Assist technicians with paperwork and answer any questions.
• Verify and record the submission and accuracy of project reports using an Excel spreadsheet.

• High School Degree and a minimum of 3 yrs relevant experience.
• Or an Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 yrs relevant experience.
• Or a Bachelor's degree and some relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
• Power BI experience is a nice-to-have.
• Strong communication skills.

One Tech Engineering is searching for an Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Engineer will be supporting natural gas, distribution, and infrastructure renewal projects.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and CAD experience.

Engineer Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Handle miscellaneous administrative paperwork, including packages and procedures.
• Communicate with project management and third-party mechanical contractors to address questions and concerns.
• Extract projects and create associated project documents.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Coordinator for a position located in Englewood, Colorado. The Construction Coordinator will assist with the administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, client interface, and field-based activities to execute Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects, construction management, and program management ventures

• Assist the Project team in building client relationships while interfacing with the client for proposal and project related items.

• Participate in project, corporate, and risk review meetings as needed, present as needed, and record and distribute meeting minutes.
• Conduct project safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required.
• Assist with the Prime Contract, subcontractor, and supplier invoicing process.
• Establish and administer project documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with the project turnover documentation, recordkeeping/retention, warranty administration and project closeout.
• Assist with applicable onboarding of craft/field supervision.
• Analyze and report composite crew rates to determine labor and equipment costs.
• Assist with staffing on projects.
• Analyze and monitor labor burdens including craft classifications, benefits and labor laws.
• Maintain accurate craft classifications and craft progression records.
• Uphold craft competency and training standards.
• Assist with estimating, forecasting, and managing craft install unit rates.
• Assist with managing earned value, schedule, change management and cost metrics.
• Coordinate construction equipment to ensure adequate inventory to complete projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
• Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

The Department Assistant will provide administrative support for Fabrication and Quality Fabrication to ensure continuity of daily department functions and operations by collaborating to provide and present department information.

Department Assistant Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the dissemination of information to the department and project teams through various methods of communication.
• Resolve questions regarding the department; research and provide appropriate answers.
• Assist in determining and ordering supplies required for the department.
• Monitor and maintain the fabrication welder and QC inspector qualification database.
• Review quality control inspection records for accuracy and completeness for fabrication projects.
• Maintain and control the fabrication quality inspection database.
• Assist the inspectors as needed by performing data entry of completed spools and associated non-destructive testing reports.
• Work with 3rd party subcontractors (Coatings, Pre/PWHT) to obtain reports for completed services.
• Review reports for completeness and enter data into the quality inspection database. Assemble the documentation into the project turnover.
• Maintain and update quality copy of fabrication drawings for documentation purposes and project turnover package.
• Prepare and upload quality related turnover documents for customer submittal on a continuous basis.
• Responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Developing and implementing business initiatives, procedures, and budgets for the department.
• Monitor department deadlines and support presentation of monthly progress reports including tracking action items and progress updates.
• Plan, coordinate and facilitate on-site and off-site meetings for the department. This may include department orientation and training, management meetings, periodic reviews, etc.
• Coordinate department related issues and complaints, such as operational resources, workstations, space assignments and supplies, and follow up that resolution has been obtained.
• Prepare ASME and Canadian jurisdictional code forms for projects as needed. These may include but are not limited to P4, P4A, U1, TSASK, ABSA, etc.
• Coordinate with the Company insurance representative for signature and certification of required forms.

Requirements of the Department Assistant:

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate accuracy, reliability, and problem-solving skills.

• Assist with adding apprentice information in Baker Tilly database
• Assist with new hire paperwork and ensure accuracy and completion prior to sending to payroll.
• Assist with general document control processes.
• Assist with UPS/FedEx deliveries at the office and ensure they get to the shipper.
• Assist with managing the office supplies and order as needed.
• Assist with miscellaneous event and training set up.
