One Tech Engineering is searching for a Safety Consultant for a position supporting geographic area from Saint Paul, Minnesota to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Safety Consultant will provide safety oversight for all construction activities taking place on-site.

• Responsible for recognizing, monitoring, and making recommendations to correct workplace safety hazards through on-site audits, consulting, ergonomic assessments, and interventions according to OSHA and other regulatory agencies

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Transmission Engineer for a position located in either Charlotte, North Carolina, or Atlanta, Georgia. The Transmission Engineer will manage and perform responsibilities for transmission line design.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of related experience.

Transmission Engineer Responsibilities:

• Perform, lead, and oversee all engineering responsibilities related to overhead transmission line design. This includes PLS-CADD modeling, line routing, structure analysis and loading trees, developing design criteria, sag-tension calculations, wire blowout, swing angle, damper recommendations, structure spotting, clearance reports, wire selection, etc.
• Prepare specifications for construction, hardware, and material for high voltage overhead transmission line (HV OH T-Line); structure design and development; hardware design and selection; and field installation supervision.
• Prepare construction drawings and cost estimates for high-voltage overhead transmission lines.
• Additional responsibilities include providing instruction and guidance to less experienced staff members.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program is required.
• A professional certification, EIT, and/or a professional engineer licensure is strongly desired.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience with routing and design of high voltage overhead transmission line facilities.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required.
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in 69kV to 500kV line design and working knowledge and/or expertise in Power Line system-based programs (i.e., PLS, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.) preferred.

One Tech Engineering is looking for a Field Service Technician for a position located near Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for setting up equipment and train machine operators employed by municipalities.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair large industrial mechanical equipment and pumps throughout your assigned territory.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all deliverables throughout the project’s life cycle and for ensuring the customer and internal stakeholders receive the required deliverables necessary to meet the project’s timeline/cost/scope of supply.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Leads and creates the project planning efforts; including the formulation of project scope, definition of project deliverables, required delivery dates, creation of a logical work breakdown structure, definition of major project milestones, accumulation of project costs and benefit estimates.
• Ensure a forecast is created for all projects that align to the budget and weekly financial status reports are constructed with complete analysis/reconciliation.
• Work with team members to improve variances that would impact the budget.
• Inform Leadership of all variances.
• Develop and approve an effective plan for communicating project information to the project team and stakeholders.
• Creates status reports, determines project status codes if necessary and creates project review documents for senior management.

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4-10 years of experience in Project Management.
• Experience managing technical projects.
• Experience using MS Project and MS Office tools.
• Previous SAP and/or ERP experience.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Highly analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Distribution Project Manager for a position located in either Reading, Pennsylvania, or Morristown, New Jersey. The Distribution Project Manager will oversee cost control, timely project completion, and maintain strong relationships with the Owner, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Distribution Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Vet the initial scope received and develop a project work plan with Engineering & Client Stakeholders.
• Develop outage requests and sequenced work plans with SME’s & Client contractor partners.
• Work with Engineering to facilitate major and minor material equipment procurement.
• Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting review and submittal 
• Develop RFP packages for construction bid events, including written scopes of work, baseline schedules, and permitting packages.
• Evaluate contractor bids and recommend award to Client.
• Facilitate Pre-Construction and regular progress meetings.
• Drive schedule and project progress during construction, oftentimes on-site.
• Complete pre-energization & closeout activities during project completion.
• Develop rapport with construction team through on-site meetings and regular meetings/phone calls.
• Meet regularly with Scheduler to update & maintain detailed P6 project schedules.
• Maintain and be accountable for project budget and financial forecast updates.
• Update financial forecasts and track accruals monthly.
• Navigate client computer programs for financial updates, contract management, and project documentation.
• Report regularly to the Lead Project Manager and Client on construction progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring home office support.
• Maintain clear lines of communication and relationships between project site, project office and clients.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Distribution line or substation construction project management experience, including management of cost and schedule.
• Must have detailed knowledge in substations, networks/telecommunications, or transmission lines. Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
