One Tech Engineering is looking for a Field Service Technician for a position located near Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for setting up equipment and train machine operators employed by municipalities.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair large industrial mechanical equipment and pumps throughout your assigned territory.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Provide remote technical support when not on-site, assisting customers with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and customer communication.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.

• Proven experience as a traveling Field Service Technician, with a focus on industrial mechanical systems in a manufacturing facility.
• Technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to bend/lift/squat/move 50+pounds.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work independently.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Mechatronics Engineer for a position located in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The Mechatronics Engineer will perform design and development functions for existing product lines and product line extensions, new products, or specials.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.

• Works on designs to improve components and products and to develop concepts for new products that achieve the desired quality at the most favorable cost.
• Prepares or directs the preparation of layouts, drawings, and specifications.
• Defines tests to be conducted and evaluates test results.
• Recommends or develops design changes.

Requirements of the Mechatronics Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, with 1 - 10 years of varied experience in engineering.  
• Must have strong CAD knowledge, proficient computer skills, strong analytical and diagnostic abilities, and knowledge of engineering standards.  
• Must also have effective interpersonal and communication skills, including a team orientation.

One Tech Engineering is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a position located in Stillwater, Minnesota. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all deliverables throughout the project’s life cycle and for ensuring the customer and internal stakeholders receive the required deliverables necessary to meet the project’s timeline/cost/scope of supply.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have 4+ years of project management experience.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Leads and creates the project planning efforts; including the formulation of project scope, definition of project deliverables, required delivery dates, creation of a logical work breakdown structure, definition of major project milestones, accumulation of project costs and benefit estimates.
• Ensure a forecast is created for all projects that align to the budget and weekly financial status reports are constructed with complete analysis/reconciliation.
• Work with team members to improve variances that would impact the budget.
• Inform Leadership of all variances.
• Develop and approve an effective plan for communicating project information to the project team and stakeholders.
• Creates status reports, determines project status codes if necessary and creates project review documents for senior management.
• Collects and documents project issues and manages timely resolution.
• Manage a team of Engineering Professionals to ensure all are performing required project design/fabrication/release details as necessary.
• Work with Purchasing/Production/Test/QC personnel to guarantee required workload is completed within project constraints and timelines.
• At the completion of a project, capture lessons learned and communicate findings to team.
• Ensure lessons learned are effectively applied to subsequent projects.

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4-10 years of experience in Project Management.
• Experience managing technical projects.
• Experience using MS Project and MS Office tools.
• Previous SAP and/or ERP experience.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Highly analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Distribution Project Manager for a position located in either Reading, Pennsylvania, or Morristown, New Jersey. The Distribution Project Manager will oversee cost control, timely project completion, and maintain strong relationships with the Owner, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Distribution line or substation construction project management experience.

Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.

Distribution Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Vet the initial scope received and develop a project work plan with Engineering & Client Stakeholders.
• Develop outage requests and sequenced work plans with SME’s & Client contractor partners.
• Work with Engineering to facilitate major and minor material equipment procurement.
• Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting review and submittal 
• Develop RFP packages for construction bid events, including written scopes of work, baseline schedules, and permitting packages.
• Evaluate contractor bids and recommend award to Client.
• Facilitate Pre-Construction and regular progress meetings.
• Drive schedule and project progress during construction, oftentimes on-site.
• Complete pre-energization & closeout activities during project completion.
• Develop rapport with construction team through on-site meetings and regular meetings/phone calls.
• Meet regularly with Scheduler to update & maintain detailed P6 project schedules.
• Maintain and be accountable for project budget and financial forecast updates.
• Update financial forecasts and track accruals monthly.
• Navigate client computer programs for financial updates, contract management, and project documentation.
• Report regularly to the Lead Project Manager and Client on construction progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring home office support.
• Maintain clear lines of communication and relationships between project site, project office and clients.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Distribution line or substation construction project management experience, including management of cost and schedule.
• Must have detailed knowledge in substations, networks/telecommunications, or transmission lines. Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
