One Tech Engineering is searching for an E &C Engineer for a position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will be performing energy efficiency calculations to estimate customer energy savings.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in corporate, consulting, or utility environments.

• Reviewing customer project submissions and determining data sufficiency.
• Creating analyses comparing proposed projects vs. baseline conditions.
• Supporting rebate determinations and customer incentive letters.

• Acting as a technical resource for account managers, customers, and vendors.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Designer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Designer will support small gas regulation station and regulator station projects

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of drafting and design experience.

• Conduct site visits to gather field data and support project execution.
• Develop designs from IFR (Issued for Review) through As-Built stages.
• Produce complete drawing packages for each project phase.
• Create 3D models using CADWorx and convert them into fabrication and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate classifications and bills of materials.
• Own projects end-to-end, from initial design through final documentation.
• Perform drafting and design work, including revisions and updates to drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage and maintain project documentation and drawing records.
• Travel to project sites as needed.

• 3–5 years of drafting and design experience
• Utility industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in CADWorx (preferred) or similar drafting software
• Ability to interpret drawings and translate them into real-world field applications
• Understanding of piping specifications and bills of materials.
• Experience with document control and revision management
• Background in geospatial, construction design, P&ID, architectural, or engineering drafting is a plus.
• SAP experience is a plus.

One Tech Engineering is looking for a Distribution Engineer located in Ramsey, Minnesota. The Distribution Engineer will lead project management of new DER’s, coordinating and collaborating with leadership and other departments throughout the process.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a power systems emphasis, and 4 years of related experience.

• Regularly monitor utility DERs, including but not limited to solar, storage, and diesel generators, for availability and performance.
• Flag operational issues, communicate issues internally and coordinate with asset owners and operators to resolve. 
• Provide technical advising on residential, commercial, and utility-scale DERs and other Load Management programs to Power Supply and Business Development team and other departments.
• Advise the Technical Support Team (TST) for Power Supply Operations (PSO); this includes supporting pre-event activities, event monitoring and operations, and post-event analysis.
• Participate in the TST on-call rotation, which may require work outside of normal business hours.
• Provide tours and oversee access to utility DERs, including solar and storage sites, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a power systems emphasis.
• Four or more years of related work experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License is a nice-to-have.
• Experience with interconnection and operation of distributed energy assets, such as solar and battery storage, at residential, commercial and/or utility-scale is a nice-to-have.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Manager for a position located in either St. Paul, Minnesota, or Denver, Colorado. The Project Manager will support the Gas Transmission Project Management team in managing projects from execution through closeout.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the natural gas or utility industry (midstream, upstream, downstream, or public utility).

• Manage all phases of projects, including engineering, permitting, construction, and closeout.
• Oversee pipeline pressure test replacements, new pipeline builds, and service installations to neighborhoods and developers.
• Manage regulator (reg) station rebuilds and relocations due to road, infrastructure changes, or mandated requirements.
• Coordinate new business projects and mandated pipeline relocations.
• Oversee the RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) program, including prioritization, forecasting, contractor coordination, and execution.
• Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues to maintain project progress.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the natural gas or utility industry (midstream, upstream, downstream, or public utility).
• Construction-based project management experience preferred.
• Engineering background preferred but not required.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Transmission Project Manager for a position located in Austin, Texas. The Transmission Project Manager will manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of work related to overhead transmission

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 7 years of related experience, including 3 or more years of experience managing engineering projects in the Transmission & Distribution industry.

• Provide overall management of projects from concept to completion, including siting, environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and closeout.
• Leverage existing client relationships, create new client relationships, and focus on repeat work within each Account.
• Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
• Own internal project financials (detailed, accurate project cost forecast and accruals), staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and human resource issues.
• Serve as primary point of contact with client regarding efforts such as client coordination, strategic planning, master scope management, budget finances, subcontracting, project staffing, environmental compliance, facility support and schedule attainment.

• Develop and implement project policies and procedures, establish project controls systems and implement the project execution plan.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Transmission Engineer for a position located in either Charlotte, North Carolina, or Atlanta, Georgia. The Transmission Engineer will manage and perform responsibilities for transmission line design.

Transmission Engineer Responsibilities:

• Perform, lead, and oversee all engineering responsibilities related to overhead transmission line design. This includes PLS-CADD modeling, line routing, structure analysis and loading trees, developing design criteria, sag-tension calculations, wire blowout, swing angle, damper recommendations, structure spotting, clearance reports, wire selection, etc.
• Prepare specifications for construction, hardware, and material for high voltage overhead transmission line (HV OH T-Line); structure design and development; hardware design and selection; and field installation supervision.
• Prepare construction drawings and cost estimates for high-voltage overhead transmission lines.
• Additional responsibilities include providing instruction and guidance to less experienced staff members.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program is required.
• A professional certification, EIT, and/or a professional engineer licensure is strongly desired.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience with routing and design of high voltage overhead transmission line facilities.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required.
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in 69kV to 500kV line design and working knowledge and/or expertise in Power Line system-based programs (i.e., PLS, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.) preferred.
