One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Manager Assistant for a position located in Brentwood or Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Project Manager Assistant will assist project managers on a variety of projects of varying complexity, and/or will manage some smaller and less complex projects on their own.

• Assist global practice and engineering disciplines with overall efforts for Design-only and/or EPC projects.
• Assist the Project Management team to administer request for proposal (RFP) package development, bid and selection process, and develop detailed scope of work documents for downstream contracts.
• Manage Contractors' submittals, requests for information, supplemental design instructions, and site drawing logs.
• Verify Contractor compliance including: quality, safety, environmental, environmental and material management programs.
• Execute contracts including: change order management/ field change directives, approval of invoices, and management of schedules.
• Assist with project controls efforts, including project cost reporting, scheduling, project work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout within the accounting system, and field progress tracking.
• Assist with the development of internal and external reports including, project budgeting, cost reports, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports to all stakeholders.
• Participate in internal and external project risk reviews and consult with Legal Department as required.
• Close out contract and project documentation.
• Adhere to the company’s safety programs, trainings, and policies, as well as promote and manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members and subcontractors.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related degree from an accredited program and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.  
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding work environment, ability to work overtime on short notice  
• High proficiency using Microsoft Office.  
• Ability to work collaboratively with others (Owner's, Contractors, Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.  
• Experienced Primavera Contract Manager or similar change management software is preferred.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Mechanical Engineer for a position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota or Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Mechanical Engineer will support capital projects at wind farms across the region by managing a portfolio of approximately a dozen projects per year and overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle at wind facilities.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and 3+ years of related experience.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:  

• Plan and schedule capital projects at wind farms.
• Order equipment and manage contractors.
• Coordinate with site Operations & Maintenance teams.
• Perform limited R&D to select optimal equipment.
• Manage a multi‑year project portfolio with budgeting and forecasting.

One Tech Engineering is searching for an Electrical Designer for a position located in Becker, Minnesota. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for analyzing, redrawing, and designing electrical schematics to support the conversion of a turbine generator into a synchronous condenser.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 3+ years’ experience in an industrial setting or A/E firm.

• Analyze the current electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Convert existing image files of schematics into vector format.
• Create new schematics for the updated control systems to ensure they are compatible with the DCS.
• Assist in the design and execution of the project, ensuring all electrical connections and controls are accurately represented and functional.
• Collaborate with plant and project engineers to support project goals and timelines.

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Project Manager for a position located in Joplin, Missouri. The Construction Project Manager will support the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager or Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods.

• Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of a single or multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide direction and participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establishing critical project objectives.
• Develop new and manage existing client relationships while interfacing with the client for proposal and project-related items.
• Participate in internal and external project risk reviews and consult with Legal Department as required.
• Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.

• Oversee Prime Contract, subcontractor, and client contractor invoicing process.
• Coordinate and facilitate client, supplier and company commissioning and startup teams as needed.
• Implement, audit, and oversee project documentation.
• Implement process for confirming project and subcontractor insurance, taxes/duties, licensures, and bonding requirements.
• Perform project safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required.
• Oversee and participate in the project-specific non-conformance reporting process.
• Responsible for facilitating project cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout, and field progress tracking specific to construction and construction related activities or program level activities as required.
• Develop and oversee materials receiving and management process, including inventory control, receipt of goods, storage, and transportation as required.

• Perform transformer upgrades, pole-to-pole, and pole-to-house improvements.
