One Tech Engineering is searching for a Regional Sales Manager for a position located in Los Angeles, California. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales operations within a defined geographic region to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and deliver high-value logistics solutions. This role requires a strong background in freight forwarding, including International and Domestic Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), and Ground (LTL/FTL) services.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a hunter mentality, deep industry relationships, and a proven track record of securing and growing complex logistics accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue and growth targets within the freight forwarding and logistics sector
- Drive new business development across international air and ocean freight, customs brokerage, and domestic transportation services (LTL/FTL)
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture
- Identify, target, and secure new customers, including key accounts and strategic enterprise-level opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, importers/exporters, and key decision-makers
- Leverage industry knowledge to provide customized supply chain solutions and value-added services
- Monitor market trends, carrier capacity, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Partner with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution of new business
- Manage and optimize regional sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM activity
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements with clients
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Requirements of the Regional Sales Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years in a leadership or regional sales management role, preferred
- 5–10+ years of freight forwarding experience with strong exposure to:
- International Air Freight (Import & Export)
- Ocean Freight (FCL & LCL)
- Domestic Transportation (LTL & FTL)
- Customs brokerage and global trade compliance (preferred)
- Proven success in a sales leadership or high-level individual contributor role within freight forwarding or 3PL
- Strong book of business and/or demonstrated ability to generate new revenue
- Deep understanding of global logistics operations, carrier networks, and pricing structures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to travel within the region as needed (25–50%)
