One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will manage all emergent capital projects for the plant from initiation through completion.


The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of related experience.

E&C Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of larger base capital and major capital projects.
  • Partner with Reliability Engineering to develop project scopes, cost justifications, and capital funding requests.
  • Manage a portfolio of small capital projects while assisting with larger capital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Reliability teams to understand plant systems, equipment, and operational needs.
  • Develop project plans that improve plant reliability, safety, and long-term asset performance.
  • Participate in daily planning meetings to prioritize work and coordinate critical plant activities.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee contractors in the field to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, and project documentation.
  • Obtain vendor quotations, manage competitive bidding processes when required, and evaluate proposals.
  • Coordinate procurement, material deliveries, and installation activities to minimize impacts on plant operations.
  • Track project progress, budgets, schedules, and administrative documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Requirements of the E&C Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
  • 2+ years of engineering or project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or power plant environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating and managing contractors.
  • Experience developing project plans, scopes, schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT)/Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred or willing to obtain.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
