One Tech Engineering is searching for a Program Project Manager for a position located in Englewood, Colorado. The Program Project Manager will develop a multi-year capital expenditure plan to support the client’s replacement and betterment of electric transmission and distribution assets.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of relevant program management experience in the construction industry.

Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.

Program Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Regular interface and coordination with project sponsor organizations to determine details of proposed plans and business justification.
  • Ensure synergies across projects are incorporated into the portfolio of work to prevent scope from being duplicated or performed inefficiently.
  • Monitor composition of client’s capital investment allocation to align with stated subsidiary investment targets for optimal rate of return.
  • Engage with project sponsors to evaluate need-by date for realistic schedules and budgets.
  • Assist with creation and compilation of rate filing support for federal and state filings.
  • Review tabletop engineering estimates for accuracy and scope.
  • Review project change requests (scope, In-service date, etc.) and reconcile with the existing and long-range portfolio of work.
  • Interface with client’s accounting group to establish financial setup for projects.
  • Create analyses & reports to assist the client in tracking, coordination, and execution of projects.
  • Build baseline scopes, schedules, and budgets to be released to multiple client’s stakeholders.
Requirements of the Program Project Manager:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of relevant program management experience in the construction industry.
  • Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.   
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
  • Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multiple years of experience on construction project sites or executing program management in the industries of aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, transmission & distribution, or water is preferred.
  • A basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
  • Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.
