One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Manager for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Project Manager will manage the Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes within the department.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 1–3 years of related experience, preferably in utilities, government, or public entities.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Process and approve purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage vendor relationships and communications.
- Match invoices to purchase orders to ensure proper accounting.
- Support reporting related to spend, including tracking and differentiating vendor costs across programs.
- Perform data-driven tasks such as data entry, PR/PO workflow management, and invoice matching.
- Assist in creating reports analyzing vendor spend and program cost comparisons over time.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers.
- Contribute to a tightly integrated team supporting construction projects, including a developing team of on-site Construction Managers.
- 1–3 years of related experience, preferably in utilities, government, or public entities
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting.
- Knowledge of purchase orders and purchasing processes.
- Vendor management experience.
- Exposure to project management practices.
- Experience supporting construction projects is a plus.
- Background in purchasing, planning, or procurement is a plus.
- PMP certification is a nice to have.
